The Madeira Island Ultra Trail 2011 is a ultra long competition organized by Clube de Montanha do Funchal.

This event will take place on the 14th of May of 2011 in Madeira Island. It comprises three courses one around 100 km in a maximum of 26 hours, another one around 55 km to be done in less than 15 hours  and one for begginers around 25 km to be done in a maximum of 11 hours. All individual races.

Madeira is a popular tourist destination because of its sun, nature walks, golf resorts, beauty of its landscapes, tasty food, and many other things. As we intend to show you, in addition to all of these, it can also be an excellent environment for the practice of beautifull walks on the mountain.

Clube de Montanha do Funchal welcomes you to the MIUT 2011 website. We are delighted to organize this special event for you and will do our best to make it a first class sporting and social event. We will be available at all times to help you make the best of your time in Madeira.
